Aniyara Studio is a London-based design and research practice engaged in architectural exploration, research, and design development. We work as part of an international collective of architects, designers, engineers, and researchers united by a shared pursuit of excellence, innovation, and transformative design.

We believe meaningful innovation emerges through the exchange of diverse perspectives. Rather than subscribing to a singular aesthetic or predefined architectural language, our work is driven by rigorous research, critical inquiry, experimentation, and meticulous craftsmanship.

Each project is approached as a unique response to its purpose, context, culture, and time. Through this process, we seek to create spaces where function, knowledge, materiality, and human experience come together with clarity and purpose.

History & Leadership

Founded in 2018 in Cochin by Jefry Babu Aniyara, the studio began as an experimental platform for architectural research and design exploration, gradually developing its practice within a broader international design discourse.

In 2020, following Jefry’s advanced studies at the Architectural Association School of Architecture (AA) in London, the studio established its primary base in London, expanding its research and design network across disciplines and geographies.

In 2026, Linitta Mathew joined the practice as Partner, bringing additional expertise and strengthening the studio’s strategic direction and multidisciplinary leadership.

Today, Aniyara Studio operates at the intersection of  technology, research, and contemporary design. Through each project, the studio continues to explore new possibilities in architecture while creating spaces that respond thoughtfully and seamlessly to their place, people, and time.
